Hawaii Law Allows Police to Have Sex with the Sex Workers They’re Targeting in an Investigation from Salon
"Police in Hawaii are fighting to defend an exemption in a the state’s prostitution law that allows undercover officers to have sex with the sex workers they’re targeting in an investigation."
The justification seems to be that if sex workers know undercover cops CAN'T have sex, that will become the way sex workers will determine if their Johns ARE cops. The police are trying to keep this ... ambiguous. But it all sounds very ... squirrelly!
